You can now get a Virtual C-card sent straight to your phone. You will need to be 16-24 years old to have a Virtual C-card and to receive FREE condoms. To find where you can get a C-card, go to our Find a Service page.
Please note, registrations for C-cards via safebanes.com are only valid in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES). Outside of this area, each local area will have their own registration process and C-card scheme.
Once you receive your C-card by email, you can show your card in over 50 SAFE branded venues in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES) and get a free condom pack on each visit to the service.
If you have an allergy you can also pick up latex free condoms — just ask. The pick-up point can order latex free condoms for you if they don’t have any to give you that day. We also supply internal condoms (previously called femidoms), lubricant, dental dams and a range of traditional condoms in various sizes, flavours and other options. The pick-up point can order these products in for you if they don’t have any to give you that day.
You will need to watch the condom or internal condom demonstration video before you can register for a Virtual C-card. They are just over a minute long and you can watch them again anytime for a refresher.

Registration points and ‘pick-up’ points
In B&NES there are a number of ‘pick-up’ points where condoms can easily be picked up with your Virtual C-card. The majority of pharmacies and GPs are ‘pick-up’ points whereas youth centres, school nurses and sexual health clinics can offer both. School nurses offer drop-in sessions at all B&NES schools.
